Russian Standard – Live at the Chapel | Venues | Newtown

Russian Standard Vodka likes to put on a good show. Last night Eskimo Joe and Pnau took to the stage or rather the altar at The ChapelNewtown. This was a night not to be missed. The venue was the perfect setting for the two bands who rocked the very foundations of religion itself. The candle lit church was the perfect setting to create an unforgettable atmosphere. Outside the Russian Standard girls served vodka mixers amongst the decaying graveyard.

Bondi Social | Bondi | Restaurants Sydney

Bondi Social was the venue and a birthday was the occasion, the weather, the staff and the food catered to our every need. We were seated on the balcony and treated to a sunny Bondi view and a packed beach. There was a table of 20 and food and bar service were excellent. We each had an individual tab making billy paying nice and easy. We ordered the degustation which had everything from oysters to Spanish meatballs. At $45 is was well priced and we were all nice and full by the end.

I would recommend for a birthday or even just an evening meal. Even if you don't get a seat on the balcony the inside is well decorated and with such great staff it make for a great dining experience.

Food Society | Darlinghurst | Restaurants Sydney

Food Society is tucked away in the backstreets of Darlinghurst. Loved it here! They had really nice décor and great food. The staff were excellent and the food was just as good. It is a lovely mix of eastern European food, served in the style of Spanish tapas. They had an extensive wine and cocktail list, which we took full advantage of.

I would recommend a visit to Food Society, if you like good food and booze at a reasonable price then this place should be on your list.

Dead Cat Bounce - Hit Sydney like a dead cat bouncing

Think Flight of the Concords and The Lonely Island all rolled in to one and you have Dead Cat Bounce. Dead Cat Bounce are a mix of sexy Irish and English good for nothings and by the power of greyskull can they make you laugh.

Dead Cat bounce are currently touring Australia, with the Sydney shows now over you can catch them on the comedy tour in Melbourne. If you want to spit your sides and make a song and dance about it then these are the guys to see.

Irelands next big thing - Crystal Swing

Watch out Sydney because the next big thing has just arrived and I'd say U2 are shitten themselves. What you are about to witness is a mother, son, daughter trio who go by the name of Crystal Swing. This loving family love to sing, dance and generally make right tits of themselves. So much so that the Irish have embraced them with open arms. Now I'm pretty sure they are all hooking up. But i'll let you be the judge.



I mean seriously dude that's your sister you are singing to. All the same I am hoping to see them headlining next years Big Day out.
