Space Ibiza - The Ivy / Sydney
Ok, usually I stay away from places like The Ivy, especially because they think it is ok just to call it Ivy when it is clearly The Ivy. AnD when Justin Hemmes spent far too much money on what can only be described as below par interior muck the bar come nightclub was destined for failure. What started out as "the in" crowd turned into muscle bound idiots looking for a fight on Saturday night. After these meat heads pump themselves full of protein at the gym they get their insecurities in check by spending stupid cash on alcohol in an attempt to appear as thought they actually making money.
I will however make an acceptation for NYE as The Ivy has a killer sound system and a line up to boot.
Performances from Pete Tong / Sam Sparro / Tiefschwarz / Derick Carter and many more
Ticets Available from Moshtix
Pete Tong - Radio 1

Shore Thing - Bondi / Sydney
Shore Thing has become a legendary NYE festival in Sydney. This year Bondi hosts a string of international acts. Apart from being a pain in the hole to get home from (unless you live there) the beach setting, bad teenage fashion and booze make for a great night out.
Performances on the night from Carl Cox / Danny Tenaglia / Roger Sanchez

Lost in the Underworld - Event Review
Lost Events are one of Sydney best kept secrets, so I probably shouldn't tell you about it. Opps just did. As the story of the legend goes, Bollo a crazy monkey, best know for his work in the Cadburys ads, was having a party. He hired Shark Island, invited a bunch of mates and Lost Events were born. Since then Lost have hosted parties in secret locations around Sydney. Last month saw the return of the lost parties with Lost in the Underworld. This creepy dance event was held in a secret location, only released on the day of the event. Unfortunately a last minute venue change meant that the Lost Boys had to pull together a kick ass night in a matter of days. Despite the set backs the night went off and had party Ghosts and Ghouls dancing all night long.

If you have missed out on Harborlife the last few years then I have one thing to say to you. PLAN BETTER.
Harborlife is a great collection of local and international talent. Apart from the bad fake tan and blokes not wearing shirts, when they really should be. This is a great session in awesome surroundings. The line up this year is looking hot Martin Solveig/ Stanton Warriors/ Holy Ghost! / Bag Raiders /
